Hmm, that's the opposite of my experience. With 3.0 I had SCSI problems
with various disks, older models tended to work while newer ones didn't.
With 4.0 I've had no problems. I'm currently running the 4.0 GENERIC
IP2x kernel on a R5000 Challenge S with a 9.1GB IBM drive.
