Hi, Sorry for the delay.

I get some corrupted lines, that seem to repeat the same characters  
every 4 and a half chars, so I get something like:

TT<half>TTTT<half>TTTT<half>...
II<half>IIII<half><IIII<half>...

I can also repeat it from xterm executing a scp. The progress display  
becomes corrupted always.
