Hi,
The 2.0 GENERIC kernel recognises only 256MB of RAM on R12k IP32
here:
NetBSD 2.0 (GENERIC32_IP3x) #0: Thu Dec 2 00:26:23 UTC 2004
builds@build:/big/builds/ab/netbsd-2-0-RELEASE/sgimips/200411300000Z-obx
total memory = 256 MB
(6848 KB reserved for ARCS)
avail memory = 238 MB
mainbus0 (root): SGI-IP32 [SGI, 1], 1 processor
cpu0 at mainbus0: MIPS R12000 CPU (0xe35) Rev. 3.5 with unknown FPC
type (0x9000
When in fact the machine has 704MB, from PROM hinv:
Memory size: 704 Mbytes
Anyone know what that's about?
regards,
