I did setup it without the bootable CD-ROM on two SGI O2 R10000. 
The steps I have done are documented here [1], it was done with a 
NetBSD 2.0-BETA, but did also work with 2.0-RELEASE, just take 
the files from your CD (instead from the links in my docu) and 
put them on your FreeBSD System.
