I am afraid you will have some work to do before playing with ISA. The patch
I wrote only did EISA (because I wanted to validate
all the EIU stuff as fast as possible, and only had an EISA card to play
with at the time). Unfortunately I did not went very farther
than the first hack, because of the combination of less spare time, VERY
noisy indigo2 machine, and lack of feedback from the list.
But it should not be too difficult to turn the ISA stuff on (ISA/EISA is
implemented using a 82357 chipset behind the EIU).
I still have the patch against  a -current of that time, it may need to be
tuned a bit :-)

It weights 4Kb, so I can email it to you if you want.
