sysinst is broken on sgimips (and sparc64, and possibly i386). This is on my
short list of things to investigate; it says the filesystem is full because
it's trying to dump core, which in turn means something fried in sysinst.

For now, you'll have to do a manual install:

* disklabel -i -I sd0 (and set up partitions as you wish, keeping in mind the
  need for the volume header for boot loader),
* /usr/mdec/sgivol -w boot boot sd0
* newfs the filesystems and mount them
* retrieve the sets and untar them

I'll make fixing sysinst a priority for the next week,
