It hasn't been tested on one and I do not have access to such a system.

4d/30 and 4d/35 are both IP12, although 4d/30 is also known as IP14.
They may also be known as VIP12. V for VME, perhaps.

I've also seen references to a HPLC (Indigo Lite), but I can't find any
evidence that suggests it ever existed outside of SGI.

As far as I can tell, Irix 5.3 runs on 4d/30 and 4d/35, although may not
have been officially supported. A quick review of a diassembly of my 5.3
kernel seems to indicate only one instance where vip12 is tested for and
the result is loading a value into an offset of gp that never appears to
be utilized again.

I do not know if the hardware is logically similar between the systems.
If so, perhaps it would just work; that'd really rock. If you have
access to such a beast and could test a net boot, I'd certainly
appreciate it.
