Without the patch, and an "init" before booting NetBSD from the network,
the CD-ROM is probed correctly as a CD-ROM.  Also, the "timeout" the ARCS
console reports when halting back to it is a little disturbing...  Any
idea what's up with that?

Hm... I guess it could always be a termination issue...  I don't have
any external devices, but who knows what the cables look like inside.
Guess I'll have to figure out how to pop the case on this thing (it
has been ... far too long since the last time I was in the guts of
an SGI :-)

(Sigh, it's also been a little too long since I did any SCSI hacking,
so I've gotta get my brain in the right mode...)
