I didn't make a real backup but I tested your images :)
Using the netbsd.ram kernel and installing via NFS works here.
I just went thru the menus with default selections. It's installing
the tarballs now and after testing if it works I'll try other methods
to install the system.

Until now I couldn't test the cdimage because it needs another 40 minutes
to download.
