I've landed myself an Indy workstation and after installing IRIX 6.2,
it comes up with an error at bootup about the ethernet interface, ec0,
having a bad address (ff:ff:fd:df:b7:db or similar), fails to go into
"standalone mode", panics, crashes and begins the cycle over. I would
not be surprised if this box has been without power "for some time".
How nasty is this error and how do I fix it (if I can) ?
