The package set is labeled 2026Q2 and the sudo binary is dated October
2025.

The binary you are installing is old, and the one you built has the fix.

riscv is still a somewhat experimental port, vs i386/amd64 and
armv7/aarch64, for which there are official TNF builder machines.
