If I am not mistaken, was it not confirmed that there are problems with
the 1.6.2 boot files?  I recall I got a kernel panic when I tried it and
when I posted the error message someone said they, too, had the same
problem with 1.6.2.  I rolled back to 1.6 and all worked well.
