(No I am not the PPC gcc maintainer.  I'm not even the PPC GDB 
maintainer :-)

Remember NetBSD/PPC also has the mess to do with how .fini and .start 
(?) sections are built that needs merging in - FSF GCC can't use 
released versions of NetBSD's /usr/lib/*.o files because they are broken.

That makes two things that need fixing.
