Hello,

I'll dare to make the following synopsis of the descussion (adding my on
opinions):

	o	The 601 included, at the user level
		a number of POWER compatible
		registers and instructions.

		Since NetBSD is a new port and does
		not use any of these features there is
		need to be concerned by this.
		(Unless of course you are foolish
		enough to attempt AIX compatibility :-)


	o	The 601 timer

		Yep that would be a problem but only a
		minor one.


	o	The 601 vm and cache

		The VM  and a few
		other querks could produce a few
		problems.  However the underlying
		VM architecture is still fairly close.
