I have (on DECstation 5000/150) :
- replaced the kernel with the netbsd-WSCONS kernel (NetBSD-3.1),
- added the following lines in /etc/rc.conf :
	wscons=YES	wscons_flags=""
	wsmoused=YES	wsmoused_flags=""
and the boot process failed :

>>boot 3/rz1/netbsd -a

NetBSD/pmax 3.1 Secondary Bootstrap, Revision 1.5

Boot: 3/rz1/netbsd
