Hi,

How to build optimized binaries for the DEC/MIPS r4000 CPU (DECstation
5000/50 or /150) on a DEC/MIPS r3000 CPU (other DECstations 5000
for example) , using the 'pkgsrc' NetBSD package system ?

How to build optimized binaries for the DEC/MIPS r4000 CPU on
the DEC/MIPS r4000 CPU ?

There are special flag for the r4000 CPU to pass to the compiler
('CFLAGS=mcpu=r4000 -mips2' ?), but WHERE should the corresponding
variable be configured for an automatic build of the r4000 optimized
binaries ?

Thanks in advance for all usefull hints.

Jean Pierre
