	I'm not knowledgeable about how the screen geometry is passed from
one system to another, so I may be overlooking something simple here. When
I ssh to my linux box and pop open pine, the screen draws, and then
scrolls an extra two lines, which pushes the menu bar off the screen. I
tried vt100, vt220, and xterm but they all do the same thing. If I hit
control-l a few times to try and redraw the screen, sometimes the STIC
goes nuts and resets itself three or four times too. Is rcons not
translating the geometry to the remote system properly or am I missing
something else? I imagine this is fixed in current as long as you aren't
on a 3MAX or a MAXine. The machine I'm running now is a 3MAX+ with a PXG+
and a PX card.

P.S. this made me laugh:

		if (j != 1 || j != 2) {
			/* i860 has gone mad, punish it */
			px_init_stic(pxi, 0);
			pxi->pxi_pbuf_select = 0;

The nice thing about Windows is - It does not just crash, it displays a
dialog box and lets you press 'OK' first.
