Hi, Manuel!
Hi, everyone!

I'm booting from the DS5K iso-cd into the memyroy resident installation
environment. At this time there is no /etc/fstab used (at least that I know
of).

Btw.:I have the same effect with another pmax (5K50).

Under 1.5.2 I used the _rz_ style SCSI devices/device names. 1.6 uses the
new _sd_ style device names (MI SCSI?). I suspect the the correspondig SCSI
drivers are not compatible. Is that correct?

Has anyone else _upgraded_ from 1.5.x to 1.6 instead of installing 1.6 from
scratch?

Best regards. / Hilmar.

What is your rz2d line in fstab, and is it really a BSD FFS ?
If not remove it from fstab for upgrade.
