Hi,

I want to upgrade my DS 5000/240 from NetBSD 1.5.2 to 1.6. I. So I made
bootable CD-ROM from the iso-Image (pmaxcd.iso).

When the "Upgrade NetBSD..." option ask for the hard disk to install the
upgrade on, I tell the programm the disk (sd1). It then says:

-------------------------------------
...
status: Running
command: /sbin/fsck_ffs /dev/rsd1a
---------------
** /dev/rsd1a
** File systems is clean; not checking
-------
It appears that rz2d is not a BSD file system or the fsck was not
successfull.
The Upgrade has been aborted (error number -1.)
--------------------------------------

exiting to the shell (within sysinst), and 'fsck -f /dev/rsd1d' before
upgrading
doesn't help.

Thanks for a helpful hint!
Best regards / Hilmar.

My system config:
