Then I get:

 (nothing matching xsii? declared)

And according to the config file,
# 3MAX has TURBOchannel but no IOASIC   
ibus0   at      tc? slot ? offset ?     # 3MAX system slot
xsii*  at      ibus0 addr ?            #  [ MI SCSI version ]

I need that ibus, don't I?  This is a 240?!
