I have one ccd filesystem consisted with striped 5 disks.  It's easy
to configure and runs equally good as raid0 saving considerable size of
kernel binary.

$ df
Filesystem  512-blocks     Used     Avail Capacity  Mounted on
...
/dev/ccd0c    20275628  8054408  11207438    41%    /ccd

$ cat /etc/ccd.conf
ccd0 84 0 /dev/sd1d /dev/sd2d /dev/sd3d /dev/sd4d /dev/sd5d

All the disks are RZ28 and hosted by DEC3000/300.
