It's a bus, very common on Motorola based systems (old SUNs, Ataris, Strides,
MVMEs, HP300s, etc), but is also used on many other systems.

There are several NetBSD ports to VME based systems, and several hardware
independent devices drivers as well, so as long as pmax support were to be SI
(?), there should be device support automatically.
