_Is_ there a 16M module? I've never seen one. What is its part #?

I don't think there is.  All I've ever seen are 8MB and 32MB
boards.  And there is also the fact that in one of the
control/status registers, there is a bit for 'memory stride'.
The only two options are, obviously, zero and one, with zero
meaning 8MB and one meaning 32MB.
