My DS5000/50 4MAXINE was successful in TFTP netboot of "install.ecoff"
with any of console;

	* serial
	* builtin PMAG-DV
	* CX PMAG-B
	* MX PMAG-A

  -tftp boot(3), bootp XXX.YYY.ZZZ.UUU/install.ecoff
  -tftp load 1132032+3194080+256668
  ...
  ...
  [sysinstall starts eventually]

Are you successful in serial console boot with your 4MAX+?
