NetBSD 1.4.1 on 3MIN (DECstation 5000)

Download wu-ftpd 2.6 and trying to compile get:

gcc  -g -O2 -I.. -I../support -c -o ftpd.o ftpd.c
/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/egcs/common/../../../dist/gcc/emit-rtl.c:1491:
Internal compiler error in function change_address

any ideas?
