Are you sure the PROM version you have can successfully tftpboot?
Some versions don't.  If that's your problem, I'm sure we can work
something out locally.  Gintzen isn't that far from Gates, after all.

Simon:  do we have a 1.4.2-ish bootable pmax CD  image anywhere handy?
