I have a DECstation 5000/125 that runs NetBSD-1.4.2_ALPHA that I would 
like to upgrade to -CURRENT from sources.

/usr/src is NFS mounted from a FreeBSD server. I used sup to get the
latest -CURRENT sources. 

I telnet to the box, then 'su -l root' and 'cd /usr/src && make build'

It takes a while and when it procedes to

dependall ===> libbz2
Unknown modifier 'O'

mkdep -a blocksort.c buffman.c crctable.c randtable.c compress.c
decompress.c bzlib.c
overwrite .depend?

If I press yes, it contribues to the next lib, then the same thing. It
is like I wasnt root.

root@ns# id 
uid=0(root) gid=0(wheel) groups=0(wheel),2(kmem),3(sys),4(tty),5(operator),
20(staff),31(guest)

What could be wrong with this picture?
