OK, if I would only get so far. I'm reading The VAX Network Booting HOWTO
right now - I would have read it before, if I had only knew of it's
existance (thanks Wolfgang!).

Could be. But has mopd a real need to understand the pmax specific
things? Should I try to get it recognize the ECOFF format in general?
