but many mirror sites don't pay per byte, and snapshots are very useful.
how about we split up the mirrorable stuff into multiple catagories,
such as "release", "current" and "everything". these could map to
release - sources and binaries for official releases.
current - sources for -current
everything - the above, plus snapshots, etc
