  This has to do with your Ethernet connection, no link or not terminated
maybe?

    Almost surely a bad ram board #5 (make sure you go by the number on the
motherboard, as the boards start at #0, not #1) Try reseating it a few times
and see if that helps.

    No keyboard or mouse detected, or if they are connected, bad cable
maybe? Are you using an LK201 or LK401 with a VSXXX-GA mouse?

Again, something with Ethernet, just repeating the test results

I'm getting the same errors on my 5000/240 whenever I try and do a make
depend. I've run the PROM full self test about 8 times and have not found
any bad RAM chips. I have 416MB of RAM too, so this takes a very long time.
I'm trying to get to the bottom of things now.
