It would appear that replies are not reaching your maxine. What is the
broadcast range in your ifconfig statements for your host machine? Should go
something like:

ifconfig le0 up 192.168.4.xxx broadcast 192.168.4.255 netmask 255.255.255.0

If your maxine is sending broadcast net responses, but is not
acknowledging anything from your host machine, I would say you have a
networking problem. Is your netmask set to 255.255.255.0 in bootptab as
well?

    Chris
