I'm attempting to mop boot my VS3100 m30, but every time the kernel is
requested, I get:

Nov 19 03:42:37 decstation bootpd[361]: requested path length > BP_FILE_LEN
file = "/usr/export/vax/root/netbsd", nul terminating

On the VAX client console I get:

> boot netbsd
Trying BOOTP
Using IP address 192.168.1.6
myip vax.home.net (192.168.1.6), mask: 255.255.255.0
root addr=192.168.1.16 path=/usr/export/vax/root/
boot failed: Unkown error: code -1

Here is the bootptab entry from my decstation:

vax.home.net:\
    :ht=ethernet:\
    :ha=08002b0e44f5:\
    :sm=255.255.255.0:\
    :lg=192.168.1.16:\
    :ip=192.168.1.6:\
    :hd=/usr/export/vax/root:\
    :hn:\
    :bs=auto:\
    :bf="netbsd":\
    :rp=/usr/export/vax/root/:\

If I take out the hd (home directory) line I get:

... BP_FILE_LEN file = "/netbsd",nul terminating

Where is the slash coming from?! I can't get rid of it, I don't know if
its looking for a relative path or what. Its even more frustrating because
the man pages don't have a good example and I did have this working and then
I broke it! Anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

    Chris
