	Did you look in .xsession-errors???

The system came configured so the error file is /var/log/xdm,
which I included below.

	> X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
	> X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
	> xdm info (pid 169): Rescanning both config and servers files
	> xdm error (pid 169): Unknown session exit code 256 from process 217

	are you running xfs??
	
Yes. I wrote in the /etc/rc.conf a "YES" to both programs.

Again, the problem is that the login windown comes in, and after
accepting my login sequence (login+password), instead of
connecting me, it comes back. Thanks,
