On the page

it says:

10."mv /netbsd /netbsd.old ; mv netbsd /"
          This saves your current kernel, (_very_ important), and moves the new kernel ready to be booted. 
          On NetBSD/pmax you should instead: "mv /netbsd /netbsd.old ; mv netbsd.aout /netbsd" 

I believe the last line is out of date and no longer applicable.  It should probably be removed.
