RedHat has decided to use the new kernel-level nfsd instead
of the old userland nfsd as the default nfsd in 6.0. The
new kernel module is known to have some problems with
connects to "old" Sun-style userland nfsd's. You might want
to try the old version nfs to solve your problems. For this
you should stop nfs, deinstall the knfs* rpms and install
the nfs-server* rpms from RedHat 5.2 or Mandrake 5.x. Then
start nfs again. You might have to change your /etc/exports
if you use parameters that changed between nfsd and knfsd.

I hope this will help you.
