Can you be more specific?

   When I try, mountd says something about "filesystems
   disagree"...what the devil does this mean?  

What's the *exact* error message you're getting?

exporting via NFS a filesystem mounted via NFS doesn't work.  even if
it did, it would still be a bad idea to do..
