I can't quite figure out what I'm doing incorrectly with my 1.4
install.

A bit of history:
I had 1.3 happily running on my 5000/125 (Vladimir), but my /usr
partition died rather suddenly. I recovered what I could and decided to
take the opportunity to upgrade to 1.4.

I installed a fresh copy of NetBSD 1.4 on my remaining RZ56 drive and
began downloading the packages that I needed and installing them in
/usr/local.

I was most surprised when I ran pilot-xfer and it told me that it
couldn't find a library that it needed. The library was in
/usr/local/lib, and /etc/ld.so.conf had the correct path for the
directory listed. I tried running 'ldconfig' to update everything, but
there doesn't appear to be an ldconfig binary on the system.

Has something changed, or did I do something wrong when installing?
Besides this little issue, everything works perfectly.

Thanks for the help.
