I've got a VRT16 (Sony GDM 1661) that a friend was very kind to lend
me for my Decstation 5000/240 with PMAGB-B turbochannel card. It
works beautifully with X, and I'm very happy with this monitor.

I've been writing some programs for Linux lately that use the Ncurses
library, and I've also installed the Ncurses package on my DecStation.
I'm hoping to port these programs to NetBSD.

My question is, can NetBSD do color in the text console, and if so,
which TERM setting should I choose? I've played around with a couple,
but so far, I'm still getting only black and white. I've been
somewhat successful in running these programs while telnetting in,
using TERM linux, but I'd like to try to get them running on the
console.

Thanks for any help,

Doug
