Here's my results:

--------------------------

DECstation 5000/240 with the original CX frame buffer that came with
the DS5000/200; the prom reports KN03-AA V5.2b:

Success! Booted into sysinstall. I noted the following anomalies:

> cfb0 at tc0 slot 0 offset 0x0fb: more frame buffers probed than configured!

I suspect the "0x0" and the "fb" got run together by lack of a newline;
why the "fb:" message came out, I dunno.

It also warned me that the clock had gained 4 days (I was booting this
kernel off an Ultrix system disk).

And finally, when it asked for "Terminal type [sun]?", I hit <return> and
it reported that terminal type "sun" was unknown. It also didn't like
"dumb", but liked "vt100" OK.

--------------------------

DECstation 5000/25; prom reports KN02-CA V2.0m:

Failure. After reporting

> Size: 960664+2141472

it sits at the end of the "472" (no newline) for 20 seconds, then the
video blips and the prom resets.

--------------------------

Hope this helps.
