I downloaded the binary kit - everything has been pretty smooth so far.
'sysinst' is particularly appreciated.

A couple of minor nits:

1. The INSTALL file references:

http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/pmax/pmax-install.html

which seems very out of date. For example, it still says:

"However, keep in mind the fact that you're going to have to move the
target disk from the helper to the target machine at some point -- and
possibly several times, if you have trouble during the installation. "

"The bad news is, even when you get a miniroot filesystem installed,
labelled, and booted, it's still far too small to hold a real root
filesystem. You will almost certainly want to label a second target disk
whilst running the NetBSD miniroot, use tar to copy the miniroot
environment to the a patition of the second disk. This is a pain, but
currently unavoidable. "

Is it the intention to scare-off newbies? It caused me to select
OpenBSD instead when I first saw it a year or so back.

2. It would be nice to include /dev/MAKEDEV in the netboot diskimage,
for those using Digital UNIX hosts.
