Not a stupid question at all. I wound up building my own disktab entry, and
was able to label the drive fine. What threw me was that the rz25x entry was
so close to the drive's actual parameters that I didn't notice the few extra
cylinders.

After all that, I'll probably wind up ripping out the RZ25 anyway and using
a 1GB drive I've got sitting around...
