Oops. That should be "rc_configured", not "rc.configured".  It should
be set in /etc/rc.conf, which has the proper variable name, but set to
NO in the distribution.  Please let us know If there's a typo anywhere
in the documentation.

That's what is supposed to happen when rc_configured isn't set. Do

	rc_configured=YES

and all will be well.
