I was "donated" a ds3100 machine about a year ago and finally I've started
playing with it.. As far as I can see netbsd would be an ideal OS for it..
but I can't seem to get past installation.

I've configured my linux machine as an bootp / nfs server and the pmax boots
... ok.. the problem arises when I'm asked for a name for my disk.

my disk is an
rz3 at sii0 drive 3 slave 0 DEC RZ23 (C) DEC rev 0A1B
rz3: 100MB, 776 cyl, 8 head, 33 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 204864 sectors

the machine hangs with this screen:

----------------------
Please enter a name for your NetBSD disk [mydisk]: zaphod

----------------------

no matter how i partitionate the disk, or what name I give it the system
hangs... the same thing happened when I exchanged the 1.3.1 sysinst with the
1.3 one...

any ideas?
