OK - since this hasn't been clearly documentented by ANYBODY....
If I have an unsupported framebuffer on an DECStation 5000/240 - Will I
get a console - or will I need to use a serial console or something
along those lines - IE: Does/will character mode work?
For those who have missed my previous rants - I'm trying to get a
DECStation 5000/240 with a PMAGB-J framebuffer to run something other
than Ultrix (pref NetBSD until I get linux working) but we have this
nice 24 bit framebuffer which nobody supports. I need a STRAIGHT answer
- the obvious path is to try it, but I'd like a definate answer
first....
Thankz.
