Hi all,

i tried to "benchmark" the disk on my 5000/133. What i find out, is that
they aren't slow.

i got something about 2-3 MByte/s. The same tests, on a
pentium/133/adaptec2940 are only 0.5-1 Mbyte faster. Only real difference i
saw, is that the caching is better on i386 regarding to many accesses on
small files. (writing/reading 1 Mbyte/512 byte blocks).

but ...

a very good job.

emanuel.

P.S. all on NetBSD/i386 & NetBSD/pmax version 1.3.
