long distancs diagnosis ... :-)

check your processor module. take a bright lamp, remove the processor
module and check all pins of the connectors. (broken, ) have a look on the
ICs of the module... sometimes, the one who gave you the machine, does some
experiments with this stuff. if nothing on the processor module looks
weird, check the main board. looks ok ? mechanically ? this monitor EPROM
sits well in the socket ?
how much memory you have ? remove all, that only one row is in.

take a second look at all this stuff ...

OH !!!, check the power supply, if you have a V-meter. you are probably
lucky, with a broken power supply...


if nothing of this helps, sorry. probably a little rain-dance around ?

but don't throw this machine out. some people have different modules for
their machines for testing ...
