Subject: Anyone ported MIT-Pthreads to pmax?

Was wondering if anyone has taken time to port the mit-pthreads
package to netbsd/pmax.  It's in the pkgsrc tree, but it looks like
it never made past the i386 platform.

I'd really like to get MySQL running on my decstation, but
I'm at a stopping place since it require the pthreads for it's
threaded nature.
