I just pulled down the 1.3-BETA distribution this morning, and much to
my dismay it appears that loadable kernel modules are no longer
supported.  Is this indeed the case or am I missing something?

The kernel builds okay with options LKM, but the lkm device is
commented out in MAKEDEV and if I make the device by hand, modload
reports 

modload: /dev/lkm: Operation not supported by device

I need this functionality for AFS to work, so if someone can give me
an idea of where this stands, I'd appreciate it!
