I'm having trouble starting X on my new install of NetBSD 1.3_BETA.
I did the install manually--that is, loading the tar sets off of a
temp partition after installing the miniroot--so I may not have
things fully configured.

The problem is I get the error
failed to set default font path '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/'
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

when it starts. If I try and set the font path manually, I get the
same error with the font path I specify. I assume I've got a file or
directory protection file. The font files are all there.

Any ideas?
