This DID work!

That does seam to be not the only error in the documentation.
The command to boot the disk (page 4 of 10 of=20
http://www.es.netbsd.org/Ports/pmax/pmax-install.html)
is NOT 'boot 3/rz#a/netbsd', but '3/rz#/netbsd' (without the
'a' in the diskname).
